Cabezon is the biggest planned development within Rio Rancho. There are numerous subdivisions, each with its own personality. There are gated neighborhoods or townhome developments, too. The area's newest hospital is also just south of Cabezon. Most of Rio Rancho's newest retail developments are west of this section of town.
